The WATTS Water Technologies Tri-Plex 3-Chambered water softener system operates in an up-flow pattern based on water usage to conserve water and reduce salt requirements. The system is divided into a Pre-Filter (Micro Z and KDF 55) chamber, Activated Carbon secondary chamber, and High Efficiency Ion Exchange Resin tertiary chamber. This 3-chamber setup provides a dramatically longer resin bed life span.
