Enpress Polyglass Tanks w/Vortech Bottom Distributor Plate

Utilizing ENPRESS’ patent pending and industry exclusive liner design, this residential vessel features an exclusive internal bottom plate distributor, which offers significant advantages over standard tanks. From the elimination of gravel under-bedding, reducing overall cost and shipping weight of the vessel, to the permanent attachment of the dip tube to the plate, eliminating frustrating re-setting
of basket style dip tubes when servicing the valve… Featuring a self-cleaning nozzle design, this
environmentally friendly vessel and system will see the most efficient service and backwashing characteristics
available.

Vortechâ„¢ creates better backwashing and cleaning action of medias due to increased lift and mixing from swirling action created by Vortechâ„¢, providing shorter backwashing requirements, (up to 30% less backwashing required).

The Vortechâ„¢ distributor is an integral part of the tank. It is welded into the bottom cone of the inner liner of the tank before final liner assembly. This design provides for over a 6500 lb. load capacity.

With the flow distributed through the entire diameter of the tank, Vortechâ„¢ provides improved system pressure drop characteristics along with an increase in softening capacity and the elimination of channeling of the media.

The Vortechâ„¢ adapts easily to 1" and 1-1/4" valves and with the permanent attachment of the riser tube to the distributor allowing for easy servicing of the control valve, the distributor stays in place without being pulled out.
