Our standard stainless steel jackets are manufactured using number 430 bright stainless steel. Number 430 bright stainless steel is typically used for interior household appliances. The composition of the metals results in a very attractive, bright finish, fabrication flexibility and lower cost. Though it is magnetic, it is correctly called stainless steel. These jackets are designed for interior applications and will suffer from corrosion, especially in outdoor locations. Periodically applying a coat of paste wax will prolong the aesthetic appeal. |
